Carlisle Lodge Nursing Home is adapted to provide a suitable environment for nursing care. All floors are accessible by lift. The garden and balcony are accessible by wheelchair.
The home has all equipment needed, such as electric profiling beds and hoists, to care for residents with limited mobility.
All floors have large shower rooms and there is a bath with an integral hoist.
All rooms have a TV and call bell system, and a lockable cabinet for medication. 
The home has a recently refurbished television lounge, conservatory leading onto a balcony overlooking the garden, and a dining room.
All food is home cooked and there is always a choice, the home is able to cater for most special diets.
All laundry is dealt with in house.
A hairdresser attends every 4-6 weeks and a chiropodist every 6 weeks
Residents will receive GP support from The Lighthouse Practice.
